Katy Perry, 31, reminded us all that a classic beauty look never goes out of style. Always one to dress for the occasion, Katy’s look for the launch of her shoe line was the perfect mix of professional and glam.
Saving her rainbow hair looks for her onstage persona, to present her collection, Katy and her hair stylist, Chris Appleton, chose a sleek style. To copy her look, blow your hair out as smoothly as possible and run a straightener through your hair for a sleek finish. Then, apply a small amount of gel at the front of your hair and use a fine-tooth comb to pull it back into a smooth ponytail just above the crown of your head.
Chris even shared a view of the ponytail from behind, showing that extensions were definitely to thank for Katy’s super long pony. To hide the hair elastic, Chris wrapped a small section of her hair around the top of her ponytail for a clean finish.
